Our Mission

Most organizations don't know what their real attack surface looks like until it's too late. ChainLenk exists to change that — with assessments that go beyond automated scanning to find what attackers actually exploit.

Manual, Not Automated

Scanners catch known CVEs. We find logic flaws, chained vulnerabilities, and attack paths that tools miss entirely.

Impact Over Volume

A 200-finding report full of informational noise wastes your team's time. We focus on what can be exploited and what it means for your business.

Clarity in Reporting

Every finding includes exploitation proof, real-world context, and actionable remediation steps — written for both technical leads and executive stakeholders.

How We Operate

ChainLenk engagements are built on clear communication, strict rules of engagement, and a commitment to delivering findings that actually move the needle on your security posture.

  • 1

    Defined Scope, No Surprises

Every engagement begins with a detailed scoping call to define objectives, in-scope systems, testing windows, and rules of engagement. You always know exactly what we're testing and when.

  • 2

    Responsible Disclosure by Default

Critical findings are reported immediately — we don't wait for the final report if we find something that needs urgent attention during an engagement.

  • 3

    Findings That Drive Change

We stay available post-report for follow-up questions and remediation validation. The engagement isn't over when we deliver the report.

Our Background

Built on Federal Cyber Experience

ChainLenk was founded by James Lenkiewicz, a penetration tester and former US Coast Guard cyber operator with over a decade of experience across offensive security, signals intelligence, and critical infrastructure defense.

US Coast Guard Cyber Protection Team

Led network and wireless penetration tests across maritime and critical infrastructure systems. Conducted enterprise assessments and delivered technical reports mapped to MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.

Cybersecurity Operations Center

Senior leadership of a 50+ person SOC responsible for 24/7 network defense, incident response, and threat hunting across the US Coast Guard enterprise.

Intelligence & SIGINT Operations

Operated as a Senior Target Digital Network Analyst and Intelligence Specialist, conducting signals collection, network analysis, and developing operational intelligence tools.

Award-Winning Innovation

Recipient of the 2020 Captain Niels P. Thomsen Innovation Award for developing CHAINLENK — an intelligence-driven tool deployed in Operation North Pacific Guard, enabling 14 enforcement actions on foreign-flagged vessels.
